The Ideas lab provides small grants for staff led teaching and learning projects
The Ideas lab provides our teaching staff with access to small grants for educationally-based projects to be undertaken within an academic year.
Projects must address one of our priority research strands:
- Learning to Learn
- Digital Learning
- Character Education
See research pages to find out more about these projects
Our fellowship programme will support selected teachers to further develop their research skills and pursue areas of enquiry which are a priority for the Institute. Fellowships will enable a temporary reduction in teaching hours for key teachers to take up the position of research fellows. Teachers taking up these fellowships will support others in the School to develop their research skills and experience of using evidence to inform teaching practice.
We are also working with visiting fellows from the University of New Buckingham and Cambridge who are helping in the development of our research projects. And we intend to invite visiting speakers to share their visions for the future of teaching and learning with our teachers, senior management team, students and parents. These fellowships will ensure our community has access to the latest thinking and developments in international education.
