David Williams, who was appointed as a Trustee in 2010, was educated at Sevenoaks School and Jesus College, Cambridge, where he read History. After graduating, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand, working for them in London and Tehran for over 12 years.
He became a partner in the stockbrokers Quilter Goodison & Co in 1984 and then worked for the capital markets division of the French investment bank Paribas in global financial and administrative roles until 2001. Until he retired in 2003, he was Finance Director for a hedge fund in London and then acted as a consultant to them for several years. David was previously a Governor of Solefield School and a Trustee of the Romney Marsh Research Trust. He is a currently a Trustee of the Kemsing Heritage Centre. All three of his children were educated at Sevenoaks School.
