During the Christmas holidays, 22 Middle and Upper School students travelled to St George’s Park for a pre-season football tour. The boys experienced coaching sessions led by FA qualified coaches while using state-of-the-art facilities.
St George’s acts as the training base for the England football teams and the boys gained an insight into what life would be like as a professional footballer. They even experienced the most recent advancements of sports science methods used to enhance the performance of professional sportspeople, including the hydrotherapy pool and underwater treadmill. A fantastic tour and a brilliant start to the new football term!
