Athletics

Sevenoaks enjoyed a competitive meet against The Duke of York’s Royal Military School, gaining a number of PBs in the process.

We also had a successful Lower School Sports Day.

Cricket

We have had a fantastic end to the league season as our 1st, U15A, U14A and U14B teams won their respective leagues.

Our U14 girls finished second out of 16 schools at the Hurst tournament.

Fencing

Woser Prossor came second at the England Fencing Youth Championship in the boys U15 foil category. This qualifies him for the England team to compete at the internationals in Paris next year.

Amelie Tsang also finished second at the England Fencing Youth Championships in the girls U13 Foil category. She also won the British Youth Championships U14 foil last month.

Congratulations to you both.

Tennis

The senior boys, inter boys, junior boys and junior girls have all qualified for the Kent Tennis inter-schools finals in Tunbridge Wells.

A huge congratulations to our senior boys tennis team who have also qualified for the national schools’ tennis finals in July.

The top pairs in each age group played in a mixed doubles tournament versus Wellington, Cranleigh, Epsom and Haileybury with the seniors winning, U15s placing second and the U14s also winning.

Thank you to all those who played, helped and supported the charity doubles tournament on Friday evening to raise money for Horizon of Hope.

Staff

Lewis Church, one of our fantastic coaches, has been selected to represent the senior GB team in the decatholon at the European Combined Events Team Championships Super League in Lutsk, Ukraine.
