Basketball

We hosted the LISBA U13 tournament with great success on Saturday afternoon. Five schools entered, including a Sevenoaks U13 side for the first time.

Cross country

The Junior Knole Run went superbly with perfect cross country weather in the afternoon and everyone did well in the generally wet conditions. Our girls A team finished in second overall with stand-out efforts from Eva Mathew (5th), Amber Croll (9th), Alexia Scotiniadis (18th) and Eliza Muysken (20th). Excellent runs were also had by Tim McLain (7th) and Harry House (22nd).

Hockey

Our U13A team won the UKSA Girls U13 Schools Hockey 7s at East Grinstead Hockey Academy.

Shooting

At the National Schools’ open, Sevenoaks won first and second individual (Thalia-198, Barty-196). We came first and second in senior pairs (Thalia-198 and Sara-190 beat Barty-196 and Mitika-192). We won the junior pairs (Rosie-188 and Yaro-194). We won the Fours match with Barty, Mitika, Sara and Thalia. We also won the top 13 year old (Yaro), top 16 year old (Thalia) and top 17 year old (Barty). There were 151 individuals from 15 schools and the team did brilliantly!

Swimming

At the ESSA’s Secondary Schools Team Relay Championships, we took four teams across seven races. The junior girls came fourth in country in 4x50m freestyle and sixth in country in the 4x50m medley. The junior boys came fourth in medley final and sixth in the freestyle final. The inter boys finished 23rd in freestyle and the senior boys finished 26th in freestyle. Congratulatins to all those that took part.

Tennis

At the regional finals, our junior girls and junior boys finished third overall, showing a really good effort against some of the best tennis schools in the country.
