Cricket

Sevenoaks School has been featured in the Cricketer Magazine Top 100 Schools Guide. Thanks to all staff and students who give so much to the cricket programme.

Fencing

Sevenoaks fencers took part in the first match against Tonbridge. Eight fencers did really well across all three weapons with a clear victory for us in foil (45-11) and sabre (45-40) and a narrow loss in the epée (45-40) so an overall victory for us.

Three of our pupils were selected to join the South East team for a national team competition in December.

Congratulations to Seb Silva who won a 5th place medal at the LPJS Millfield U15 Sabre competition.

Hockey

It was a great day of hockey at the East Regional finals for the 2nd XI, U16 and U14 sides. A special mention to the U16s who finished top of their group, qualifying for the Tier 3 National Finals in March.

Well done to our 1st XI hockey team who finished runners up in the Mel Clewlow cup.

Netball

Our U19s and U14s competed at the county finals over the weekend, finishing third and fourth respectively.

Show jumping

Well done to all ten pupils who competed at the NSEA show jumping! The 80cm team won the team competition, the red 90cm team finished second, qualifying for Royal Windsor, the white 90cm team finished fourth, and the 1m team finished second. Abi Scott and Anabelle Crickmore also performed well individually, ranking first and fourth respectively overall.

Outreach

A huge well done to the seven primary schools that took part in the Primary Football Tournament! Outstanding performances from all players – congratulations to the overall winners, Amherst Primary School.
