Knole Run
We welcomed 87 teams to Knole Park for the Knole Run this weekend. Sevenoaks teams did very well with the girls team finishing fifth and the boys A team coming sixth despite many members being unable to participate due to injury and illness.
Special mentions to Edoardo Leone who finished 12th out of over 200 runners. Well done to the younger members, Jake Brislane who had a superb ran to place 38th, Johnny Dunlop who also ran well to finish 68th and also to Y9 Ed Lindsay, whose position of 96th means he should have been in the A team. Alex Evans did very well, leading the girls team home in 20th with excellent support from the rest of the team close behind her.
Swimming
We took 18 swimmers to the Kent Secondary Schools’ Individual Championships comprising of 12 boys and six girls.
Between them they achieved four gold medals, five silver medals, two bronze medals, eight fourth placements, four fifth placements and two sixth placements.
In the overall points competition, the boys retained the shield for the third year in a row and the girls improved on their fourth place from last year to second.
Particular well done to Louis Hayes, Zac Raymond and Izzy Okara who each won gold and silver and to Demi Ali who also earned gold.
