Cross Country
Our runners had lovely sun but a chilly wind for the Kent Schools’ competition. There were some superb races, notably from Eliza Muysken who finished fourth in the Y7 girls race, Ed Lindsay who finished fourth 11th for the junior boys and Amber Croll in 16th for the junior girls.
In the senior races, all four of our runners qualified for regionals with captains Ingmar Gunn and Meghan Watson both finishing 11th in their races, Edo Leone finishing 12th and Bella Gomez finishing 15th.
In the inter races, stand-out performances came from Alex Evans who finished 8th, Fenton Davoren who finished 9th, Fin Croll who finished 18th and Y10 Jake Brislane who finished 23rd. We hope to see them all qualify for regionals.
Hockey
Paul van Velsen played with Sevenoaks Club U18s boys finished third at the National Indoor Finals losing in the semis after topping their pool unbeaten.
Squash
At the Kent Schools’ event, each team reached the finals and came runners up. Both the senior girls and U14s lost out in the final by one game with the senior boys doing extremely well to reach the final despite missing some key players.

Congratulations to Max Thorpe (OS 2011) and friend Dave Spelman who finished the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in an incredible 37 days, setting a new World Record for fastest crossing of the Atlantic of a two-man vessel. Four-man team HMS Oardacious was managed by James Tuhey (OS 2000) and videos and photography to the team was provided by Andrew Parish (OS 2000).
