Sporting highlights

Well done to our hockey and netball teams with some fantastic performances in recent tournaments as well as many individuals successfully representing their own sports.

Abi Scott had a very successful day at the Arena Eventing Championships finishing fourth and fifth in two very competitive classes.


Amelie Tsang represented Great Britain at the European Championships Cadet (U17 foil) in Porec, Croatia. She finished 37th out of 94 fencers having lost her fight 14-15 against the Polish number one.

Also, Woser Prossor came second at the South East Regional qualifiers in the U16 foil, narrowly missing out on the gold by one point. The nationals will be held in Sheffield in May.


The U15A football side had a superb 4-1 win versus Tonbridge School.


Well done to our U16 hockey girls who finished third in their group at the Tier 3 National finals. They were a credit to the school and worked hard all day.

Boys’ hockey lower down the school is new this year and is now in full swing with a series of fixtures at U13 and U15. We are hoping to grow it into a successful sport moving forwards.


Well done to our 2nd VII who came third and our 1st VII who came away as winners at the Birley’s tournament.


Zac Raymond came third with a PB by 0.8 sec at the ESSA championships.


We recently held a fantastic hockey masterclass event for local primary schools and their teachers. Thanks to all of our pupils and staff who helped make this a successful event.
