Football
Our U13A football side beat Holmewood House 1-0 and drew 1-1 versus New Beacon in a pre-season triangular.
Hockey
A 30-strong hockey team toured South Africa during the summer holidays to play in the Annual Cape Town U18 International Hockey Festival. The tour was a huge success, with the team making excellent progress throughout the tournament.
The hockey sides had a one hundred per cent record versus Bishop’s Stortford this weekend.
Netball
Jessie Oliver has been selected for the regional netball academy for the forthcoming year.
Rugby
There was successful rugby training camp during the penultimate week of the holidays where the players received top quality coaching from Louis Deacon (England) and Colin Stevens (Wales).
Sailing
Sevenoaks School Sailing team rounded off a fantastic year by winning the British Schools National Championships at West Kirby Sailing club on 29-30 June. The finals saw 16 teams competing from all over the country.
The senior sailing team also competed in the world championships in the summer holidays representing GBR, where they finished a fantastic fourth place. This is an amazing achievement.
Swimming
Lily Snell competed in the British national championships this summer in 50m and 100m freestyle. She finished in a PB, in eighth place and only 0.6 off gold.
The top 24 swimmers in the UK compete in the British championships and the next 20 compete in the English championships. Emily Das competed in the English championships for 50m and 100m breaststroke.
Tennis
The senior boys competed at the National Finals during the summer break finishing a fantastic 15th place in the entire country.
Charlotte Imbert competed in the Kent County Closed Championship in Bromley last week, both in the 14U girls and 16U girls competitions. She was semi-finalist in the U16 and won the 14U tournament, an achievement unmatched at Sevenoaks in a long time.
