Badminton

Sevenoaks teams had an excellent afternoon at the county tournament. The U14 boys finished sixth while the U16 boys won a bronze medal and U16 girls won silver.

Fencing

Congratulations to Piero Steiner who won silver at the Surrey championships and did well at the Italian nationals.

Football

Our teams won seven and drew two out of ten matches versus King’s Canterbury last week.

Hockey

Congratulations to the U16 side who fought valiantly against Clifton College in the national finals playoff but unfortunately lost 3-2. We are all proud of the team who have represented the school so well during the hockey season.

Netball

Our teams won 13 out of 14 matches versus Eastbourne College last week.

Swimming

Sevenoaks swimmers had another good weekend at the Kent swimming championships.

Louis Hayes – four golds in 200m backstroke, 100m backstroke, 200m freestyle, 100m freestyle and is fastest in GB at 200m freestyle and 100m freestyle. He also qualified for the men’s 100m backstroke open final.

Elspeth Watson – gold in 100m butterfly and 200m butterfly

Sarah Williams – silver in 200m breaststroke, fourth in 100m breaststroke

Emily Brown – bronze in 100m breaststroke

Ellie Vowell – fifth in 100m butterfly and 100m breaststroke

Kara Dimond – fourth in 100m breaststroke, seventh 200m breaststroke

Robert Allen – seventh 200m backstroke, eighth 100m backstroke

Zac Raymond – fifth 100m backstroke, seventh 200m freestyle and 100m freestyle  

Stephen Yeap Weller – 100m freestyle 5th, open men’s 5th

Outreach

We held a great U11 netball tournament, which was won by Derwent Lodge. Sevenoaks also hosted a superb morning of cricket for prospective pupils and parents from Bickley Park, with cricket sessions followed by some introductory talks and a Q&A.Thank you to Chris Tavaré for setting this up.
