Athletics

Congratulations to Lucinda White who won gold at the Kent Pentathlon Championships breaking the Tonbridge AC record.

Phoebe Barker has been named August athlete of the month by TeenRunner.

Cricket

Vikas Kokkiligadda won Leading Batsman Award for Kent U13 Cricket.

Congratulations to Harry Houillon who represented Sevenoaks Vine 1st XI versus a PCA side featuring ex-England test match players including 2005 Ashes winners Matthew Hoggard and Geraint Jones.

Hockey

Our teams enjoyed a strong start to the season, winning eight and drawing two out of 14 fixtures.

Rugby

The A teams were involved in festivals. The 1st XV narrowly lost to Hurstpierpoint College and Tonbridge and beat Reigate. At the Lord Wandsworth College festival, the U16s won all matches beating KCS, Reigate, CLFS, and John Fisher. At Reigate the U15s lost 3 and drew 1, while the U14s beat Trinity, Campion and Hurst. These are very strong rugby schools so this was a good weekend of results.

Congratulations to new Sevenoaks School Sports Scholar Renée Ojikutu on selection for England U18 Hockey Squad.

Sailing

During July, seven boats represented Sevenoaks at the 2017 RS Feva World Championships in Medemblik, Holland. Despite some lengthy days on the water, launching around 09:00 and returning to the club house at the latest of 19:30, our team had a successful regatta. Three Sevenoaks teams qualified for the 56-strong Gold fleet, and four raced amongst 56 boats in the Silver fleet.

Tennis

Charlotte Imbert (U16), Oscar Brown (U16) and Hugo Coquelin (U12) are all Kent Champions after a brilliant weekend of tennis versus the best players in the county.
