Athletics
Last week Sevenoaks put in a great effort against top schools such as Epsom, Wellington, Charterhouse, Seaford and RGS Guilford. The inters finished first, and Sevenoaks came third overall.
Hockey
The U14 side are competing at the national finals on Wednesday, at the Olympic Park.
Sailing
The U18A team won the Hoad Shield after winning nine out of ten group races before beating Royal Hospital 2-0 in the final. This was a brilliant effort against 19 of the best sailing schools in the country.
Tennis
A new school record was set at the weekend as 80 students represented at the Independent Schools Tennis League: six boys’ teams and eight girls’ teams. The boys won their group and qualify for the Division 1 finals as a result.
Aidan Durant and Michael Smirnov finished as runners-up in the Kent Schools doubles championship. Alex Vafai and Kai Hayashi won the U15 event.
Our teams won eight of 11 fixtures versus Eastbourne College last week.
