Badminton
We had a brilliant day at the county championships. The U14 boys finished third while the U14 girls finished first and are through to regionals. The U16 girls finished third and the U16 boys finished second and just missed qualifying for the regionals.
Cricket
Old Sennockian Natasha Farrant has been called up to the T20 Cricket World Cup to represent the senior England women’s team.
Shooting
Cecilia Catuogno-Cal (B team) and Gabriel Shaft (C team) have been selected to represent England.
The squad have secured the National Smallbore Rifle Association Main and Junior National Roll of Marksman Shield for a seventh and sixth year respectively and they also defeated Imperial College in a recent match; another unexpected victory.
Swimming
Louis Hayes has qualified for the regionals after winning a whole raft of gold medals at the Kent championships. He is now ranked first in GB at 50m backstroke and third for 50m butterfly for his age, and is ranked first in the South East region for both of these. He also has top ten GB rankings for 50m breaststroke and freestyle.
