Sporting Highlights

There were fewer fixtures this weekend due to an exeat.


Sophie Rayment competed in the British Youth Fencing Championships in Sheffield and came 14th for Under 14 Girls’ Sabre.


A team of Tom Harrison, Max Delchar and Ed Chambers defeated King’s Canterbury in the regional semi of the ISGA plate.


Sevenoaks (town) HC U16 side are champions of the Home Counties league for the first time in their history. This team featured 12 Sevenoaks School girls.


Sevenoaks teams competed in the BSDRA Hoad Shield on Saturday 30 April. This year, the Hoad ran a Firefly and a Feva competition alongside each other. Sevenoaks won six out of ten Firefly races, taking fourth place, and entered three teams in the Feva competition, of which the Red team sailed best, ranking fourth.

Yachtsman of the Year and Olympic medallist Ian Walker (OS 1988) won the Nonsuch Bay RS Elite Challenge.


Charlotte Imbert and Oscar Brown represented Kent in matches over the weekend.
