We enjoyed a good weekend of sport with some excellent rounders and tennis results at King’s Canterbury.

The inter boys did well at the regionals B finals and a busy week coming up with IAPS, Trinity Schools and the inter and junior girls contest the regional A final.

Sabrina Sinha won a bronze in U20 England Athletic championships on Saturday!

Ingmar Gunn (Year 9) competed in the Windsor Sprint Triathlon and came a magnificent eighth out of over 400 competitors. He was the only competitor under the age of 25 to be in the top ten!

An excellent Sunday fixture took place between the 1st XI and Old Sennockians – the OS won!

Sophie Rayment was placed fifth for Under 13 girls sabre at the England Youth Fencing Championships in Hertfordshire yesterday, being narrowly beaten 10-8 in the quarter-final.

Tom Harrison, Max Delchar and Ed Chambers won the regional final of the ISGA Matchplay Plate and as such qualify for the national finals, which take place at Magnolia Park near Oxford.

Saturday 11 June saw Eton School host the 2016 Thames Valley Area Schools Championships, held at Bray Lake. Unfortunately, due to poor weather Sevenoaks finished third on countback after coming equal first on the same number of points.

Congratulations to Venetia Barker and Janani Sivayogan, winners of the Year 7 girls Kent tournament.
