Sporting Highlights3 October 2016 BadmintonWe had some good results last week, with the 1st team beating Tonbridge. Cross CountryThe U13 girls won the Sevenoaks Prep Thomas Trophy race with a brilliant score of 38 while the U13 boys finished second, which is their highest ever finish. GolfThe golf team had an excellent 3-0 win over Sutton Valence in the first round of the ISGA Matchplay Championship. HockeyThe U16 Hockey side reached the semi-finals of the Kent Cup and were bitterly disappointed to lose to King’s Canterbury after dominating the tournament to that point. Our teams won 6 out 11 fixtures versus St John’s Leatherhead and St Lawrence at the weekend. Congratulations to Orissa Welsh and Zoe Eifion-Jones who have been selected for the U16 Futures team and to Sophie Dargan who has been selected for the U17 HiPac team. NetballThe U19 Netball side have qualified for the Kent Cup finals day. RugbyThe rugby teams won three out of eight fixtures versus Eltham College last week.
