Cross country
The junior girls team had a superb weekend and finished second in the country at the nationals in Formby. Congratulations to Maddie Wise, Alex Evans, Anais Fernandez-Laaksonen, Eleanor Allen, Telia Green, Venetia Barker.
Hockey
Our teams won six out of ten fixtures versus Hurstpierpoint including a 5-0 win for the 1st team.
Rugby
We won four and drew one out of eight fixtures versus King’s Canterbury this weekend, including wins for the 1st XV and 2nd XV. This is the last set of rugby fixtures in an excellent season and shows some real progress in rugby.
Sailing
The sailors had a superb weekend at the Feva winter race and the London Pack where they finished third competing against the best universities in the country.
Charity and Outreach
The children’s rugby charity Wooden Spoon were in attendance at our fixtures on Saturday raising awareness while the rugby and hockey sides wore wooden spoon socks. It provided a real festival feel to the afternoon and around £2000 was raised.
We held an excellent Primary Schools Football tournament on Friday which was won by Amherst.
