Sporting Highlights 14 September

Rugby

We achieved a great set of results in the rugby this weekend versus Cranbrook including a clean sweep at U14 level and a first win for the U15A side.

HockeyHockey results for the U15 sides versus Cranleigh this weekend were excellent.

Basketball

Angus Thomas has been selected to represent the South East England at U14 level.

Fencing

Sophie Rayment is now placed fifth in England in Sabre at U13 level after a fine performance at the England Youth Fencing Championships.

Golf

The school golf team competed in the Smarden Bell tournament achieving a very creditable third place finish out of the nine schools competing. In the last five years we have always finished in the top three.

Netball

Jessie Oliver, Alicia Gilliat, Freya Hall and Cat Brown have been selected for the regional netball academy for the forthcoming year. Nell Rudd-Jones has been selected for the U17 Kent Netball County Academy.

Cross-country

Charlie Lindsay and Sabrina Sinha ran the fastest school male and female legs respectively at the Blackheath and Bromley relays.

Riding

Juliette Lindsay was selected for the British Dressage Southern Prelim Team for the U25s Championships at Sheepgate, Lincolnshire, where her team was placed fifth. She also represented West Kent Sevenoaks Pony Club at Area Dressage.
