Cricket
Our teams won two of two fixtures versus Solefields at U13 level last week, and Alex Shin scored an excellent 50.
Rounders
We won six out of eight fixtures versus Benenden at U13 level. The U13A won their match to progress to round 2 of the national cup.
Swimming
Sevenoaks pupils competed in the first weekend of the Under 14 South East Regional Swimming Championship. Silver medals were won by Elspeth Watson in the 200m butterfly, Ellie Vowell in the 200m IM and Louis Hayes in the 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly. Both Elspeth and Ellie also qualified for the finals in the 100m butterfly and 50m freestyle, and Zac Raymond and Louis in the 100m freestyle. The final round takes place on 27-28 May. Both Ellie and Louis will be going to the summer nationals later this year, and Louis ranks top ten in GB for his age group in his events swum so far.
Tennis
The senior boys and senior girls are through to the regional final, which will be against Bede’s in the first week after half term. If they win, they will compete in the nationals.
Triathlon
Ingmar Gunn won the Crystal Palace Youth Triathlon, which forms part of the British Triathlon Super Series. He beat the next competitor by an impressive margin of 35 seconds.
