Harry Houillon (Year 10) hit his first century for the first XI scoring 103 not out. Harry and Rhys Joseph (85) put on a partnership of 179, which is an unparalleled achievement in recent years.

The U14A team beat the U15A team in a dominant display at the Cranbrook tournament.

Cecilia Catuogno-Cal, Alberta Leonard and Anastasia Spiridonova competed for Kent Ladies B team over half term.

Congratulations to Louis Hayes who holds the UK number one (all time) ranking position for 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly for his age group.

After the final weekend of the South East Regional Championship, Ellie Vowell picked up a Gold in the 50Fly, Louis Hayes Golds in the 100Back and 50Breast and a silver in the 50Free. Zac Raymond 50Free bronze. Ellie has ended the regionals with a Gold and Silver and Louis 2 Golds and 3 Silvers. Both Ellie and Louis are going to the Summer National Championship end July-August 2017.

Congratulations to our girls’ 1st team of Sophie Dargan, Charlotte Imbert, Anna King and Josie Hogh, who have qualified for national finals, after beating Bede’s 8-4 in the regional final. The finals will take place in Nottingham in July. The boys’ 1st team (Matt Collins, Alex Lenhart, Oscar Brown and Hugo Coquelin) fought bravely to lose in the regionals to Bede’s. Hugo played in an U18 side at regional level as a Year 7 boy which is quite remarkable.

Hugo has had a brilliant week after being crowned national champion at Grade 2 level in the U12 age group.

Our tennis teams also enjoyed a clean sweep across all teams against a strong New Hall school. A brilliant performance.
