We held a very successful Junior Knole Run on Friday, with 484 boys and girls from 43 schools competing in a very misty Knole Park. Congratulations to the winners, The Judd School (boys) and The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School (girls). The Sevenoaks School boys’ team took sixth place and the girls tenth – well done to all, and especially Tim McLain (Year 7) who came fifth. Thanks to all involved especially Cath Nicholson, Sandra Jordan and Craig Moore for their excellent organisation of the event, and thank you to Lord Sackville, the National Trust and the Knole Estate for giving permission to use the park.

Congratulations to the senior boys who beat Tonbridge 5-0 in their fixture.

Our swimmers had a very successful trip to the national finals, with nine Sevenoaks teams competing. The inter boys made the 4 x 50m freestyle final finishing as seventh best team in the country and also the 4 x 50m medley final and finished eighth. The junior girls finished seventh in the 4 x 50m freestyle final.

Massive congratulations to the Year 7-8 team who finished second at the regional finals. They won their semi-final 5-1 but eventually lost to Culford in the final.

Our senior boys’ team won 5-1 versus Tonbridge in the group stage of the national competition.
