At the Kent Schools’ Championships the following athletes performed superbly:
Katie Willis: bronze medal discus Ryan Cherian: 3rd final 800m 2.02 Sandy Milligan: 3rd final 200m 23.38 Max Perman: 3rd final hurdles 12.66 Lucinda White: 1st Javelin 34.31; 1st Pole Vault 2.95
Cricket
Sevenoaks competed at the ECB Chance to Shine U13 Girls County Round. There were 13 teams in total in two pools. Sevenoaks were pool winners with victories over Strood, Charles Darwin, TGS, Townley and St Ronan’s, and was the runner-up in the final vs Hayes.
Girls cricket is coming along nicely, with two wins versus Sevenoaks Prep last week.
The 1st XI gave a brilliant performance last week to beat a very strong King’s Wimbledon side. Harry Houillon and Rhys Joseph put on a 90-run partnership with Harry scoring his second 50 of the week.
Swimming
Louis Hayes has qualified in eight events for the British Summer Championship 2018. Only the top 24 swimmers ranked in GB are invited.
The Swim England National Meet 2018 follows on the week after, for those ranked 25-45 in GB within the qualification window. These are the qualifiers:

Tennis
We had a brilliant day last week, winning 9 of 9 matches versus New Hall School.
Outreach
We held the annual primary schools cricket tournament last week; the final one organised by Chris Tavaré. Congratulations to the winners, Ightham Primary.
