Over recent years badminton has become a very popular sport at Sevenoaks and is enjoyed both by competitive players looking to take part in school matches and by students who want that little bit of competitive edge to keep fit.

Badminton is a sport for all.

Every Tuesday and Saturday afternoon the Sennocke Centre sports hall is full of Year 11 to Upper Sixth students playing badminton. In a friendly but competitive atmosphere students work to improve their skills in a sport that they will be able to enjoy for the rest of their lives.

The Lower and Middle School also have access to a club on Wednesday lunchtimes and we enter the Nationals knock competition each year, where we regularly win the county cups and compete at the regionals.

As well as these regular practice sessions we also play matches against other schools and enjoy considerable success, reaching regional finals in 2015. Current and former students have competed individually at county, national and international level.
