Kent County Ladies

Cecilia Catuogno-Cal is shooting in Div 4 of the National Smallbore Rifle Association Ladies Inter County league with the A team. Her current average puts her in 12th place out of the 30 competing in the division and after four rounds they are in first place with four wins. Anastasia Spiridonova is in the B team in Div. 6 and is in 18th place. The B team have won two of the first four rounds leaving them in fourth place.

Queen Alexandra competition

In the interest of doing something different our shooters decided to embark on entering a very tough competition. The Queen Alexandra is a countywide selection competition to find the best six county shooters for a team to represent their county at the national finals in August. The competition consists of four targets (ex.400points). Two are shot under normal conditions ie 15 mins per target (Deliberate), and two are shot under a time limit of 90 seconds per target; that’s nine secs per shot! After an internal selection process the following five from 11 have entered the second stage.
