Congratulations to the school’s newly formed volleyball team, on their win over Tonbridge School. The new team were all keen to show what they were capable of, after only 4 weeks of intense training and the unfortunate defeat against Tonbridge the previous year. They did not disappoint!
Damian Owerko’s ‘bullet’ serves were watched in disbelief by Tonbridge, whilst Maksymilian Szwajewski and Tom Menges’s powerful spikes were beautifully set by Theo Ventura and Oscar Gay. Charles Ingham’s super digging and defensive skills made it even harder for our visitors. The ‘Man of the Match’ award, however, must go to Theo Ventura for displaying excellent technical abilities, great focus and vision of the game whilst constantly praising his teammates.
