Congratulations to the Sevenoaks champions in the Varsity division of the annual Bee and Bowl Quiz, which was held in London on Saturday 12 March. Our senior team of Ishaan Bhardwaj, Daniel Wu, Nathaniel Robinson, John Broomfield and Sam Lloyd posted high scores in every round, defeating St Paul’s Girls School in the final of the team championship (Bowl).
In the individual competition (Bee), Sevenoaks achieved a clean sweep of medals, with Ishaan Bhardwaj coming a convincing first, followed by Daniel Wu in second and Nathaniel Robinson third. As English Champions, our senior team will now progress to the European Championships in Berlin in May.
In the Junior Bowl, Sevenoaks reached the semi-finals, with Barty Wardell, Zoe Tockman, Victor Poracchia, Jamie Elder and Dom Gualtieri all impressing against older opponents. In the individual competition, Dom Gualtieri finished third.
