Sevenoaks School gardens designed by Chelsea gold medal winner

Among the buildings and fields on our marvellous 100-acre campus are ten beautiful gardens, looked after by our dedicated Grounds and Gardens team. They plant new trees every year and maintain a range of stunning shrubs, lawns, herbaceous borders and flower beds.

Some of these wonderful flower beds were designed by landscape and garden designer Jo Thompson, who has just been awarded her fourth gold at Chelsea for her Wedgewood garden. The theme of a number of gardens at the show this year was health and well-being, and how plants and green spaces can improve lives and tackle major environmental challenges.

This is something we see at Sevenoaks, where the outdoor spaces contribute to biodiversity and enrich the lives of all students and staff.
