The Sevenoaks School Foundation has launched the Sevenoaks School Covid-19 Appeal.

The appeal will provide immediate and ongoing support to students who are at risk of being left behind in the wake of the pandemic.

The legacy of the school’s founder, William Sevenoke, provided for the establishment of a school in Sevenoaks for young people irrespective of their parents’ ability to pay school fees. In this modern day crisis, we are steadfastly committed to maintaining access for all current and future students. While the school endeavours to assist all parents experiencing short term financial difficulties, there will be some who will require longer term assistance.

Accordingly, the appeal will help to ensure that no student is left behind in the wake of the pandemic as a direct result of hardship. Furthermore, it will directly support the school’s commitment to widening access by safeguarding 100% bursaries for academically talented students from families who cannot afford Sevenoaks School fees.

Currently 60 students attend Sevenoaks School on bursaries funded, in large part, by donations from parents and Old Sennockians. In the coming year, we will provide £1.7 million of financial aid through bursaries. This would not be possible without the generous support of the school community.

Together, we can provide students with a life-transforming education at Sevenoaks School.
