Sevenoaks School finished fifth at the recent Aiglon Cup ski racing championships, with some top five race results from Alex Huisman, Ilya Pecherskiy, Lara Gueorguieva and Margaretha Von Boetticher.
The best individual results included:
• Giant Slalom U18 Boys: Alex Huisman 5th, Ilya Pecherskiy 15th
• Giant slalom U16 Boys: Nick Clinton 12th
• Giant slalom U18 Girls: Lara Gueorguieva 7th, Margaretha Von Boetticher 9th, Maria Ruhan 13th, Marie-Therese Gaar 16th
• Slalom U18 Boys: Ilya Pecherskiy 5th
• Slalom U18 Girls: Lara Gueorguieva 3rd, Margaretha Von Boetticher 5th, Maria Ruhan 6th
The championships took place at Villars in Switzerland on 8 and 9 March with 320 participants on the first day and 280 on the second.Congratulations to our ski team who are enjoying a lively and successful season.
