The RN section enjoyed their CCF field day to Chatham Dockyard yesterday. This was a new destination for us, as our usual trip to HMS Excellent in Portsmouth was impossible due to Covid measures restricting afloat activities in the Solent. The Year 10 and Lower Sixth cadets enjoyed the visit to the Dockyard, experiencing making their own rope, and seeing HMS Cavalier, HMS Ocelot and HMS Gannet.
