On Friday 22 November, we hosted the annual Primary Schools 5 a-side Football Tournament at the Sennocke Centre. There were seven local primary schools in attendance – Amherst School, St. John’s CEP, Weald CofE Primary School, Crockham Hill Primary School, Lady Boswell’s C of E Primary School, Dunton Green Primary School and St. Lawrence CEP School. It was great to see a number of girls playing this year, something that Head of Football at Sevenoaks School, Jack Jarvis, is keen to see increase in the coming years. The Spirit of Football Award was won by Crockham Hill Primary School, who fielded a squad made up of all Year 4 students and played against boys and girls two years older than them. Player of the Tournament went to Ethan from Weald. Runners-up for the tournament were Dunton Green Primary School and Amherst School were once again tournament winners.
