The students of Park Grange and GIH raised a total of £4970 at their Alternative Lunch and Fair for students on Monday.
The money will go to the 2 charities supported by Charity Action Group this year:
The Bridge Trust – supporting single homeless people in West Kent since 1991. They have helped over 5,000 homeless people with advice or accommodation and support and are based in Tunbridge Wells
SOS – Sumatran Orangutan Society – run by an Old Sennockian, which support grassroots projects which empower local people to become guardians of the rainforests, restores damaged orangutan habitat through tree planting programmes, and raises awareness about the importance of protecting orangutans and their rainforest home.
