A beautiful Victorian house off the main school campus

School House is the oldest boarding house, dating back several centuries, and its boarders originally lived at the centre of the campus in the main school building. Today School House is located on a beautiful Victorian estate not far from the school grounds. The house is home to boys aged 13 to 18, with around ten in each year group.

The social spirit within the community of the house, coupled with the ambitions to succeed, creates a great atmosphere.

There is a tremendous spirit of respect and cooperation within School House, which provides a comfortable, friendly and supportive environment, with good facilities and a small ratio of boys to a room. There are a large number of common activities, trips and charity work, which creates a good sense of unity. These range from School House Band to cookery lessons, from film nights to sports clubs. We also love the boys to initiate their own charity work supporting indicatives such as Movember, Mind and Operation Smile.

ASPIRE: At School House we hope that all boys will aspire to be the best they can be to others and themselves.

The Housemaster, Dr Tom Findley, lives on site with his wife and children.
