Park Grange lunch raises over £4000 for charity

Our students enjoyed the annual Park Grange lunch on Monday, which included over 1500 hotdogs, a large selection of home-made cakes, ice creams and live music.

The event raised over £4000 for two charities. The local charity is called the Scotts Trust, that helps people with significant learning disabilities to gain the confidence they need to lead fulfilled, happy and independent lives. The international charity is called UWS (United World Schools) which builds schools in Cambodia and trains locals to be teachers within those schools; the most obvious impact of these schools is to halve the infant mortality rate in the region!
