Open Mornings 2018-19
Saturday 15 June 2019: Year 7, Year 9 and Sixth Form entry
This is our main event of the year, where classrooms will be open and teachers will be available.
September 2019 (Date TBC) Year 7, Year 9 and Sixth Form entry
This is an opportunity for you to see the campus on a normal school day, and to look in on a few lessons if you would like to. Teaching staff will of course not be available for one-to-one discussions on these mornings.
What happens at a September Open Morning?
The Open Morning usually begin around 09:30 and end at around 12:30. They include a presentation from the Head or Head of Sixth Form, Admissions staff and students. Information Mornings are smaller sessions held on a normal school Saturday, and consist of a presentation, time for questions, boarding house tours and a tour of the campus, with open classrooms where possible. These are suitable for those interested in Year 7, Year 9 and Sixth Form entry.
Please note: teaching staff will not be available for one-to-one discussions at these events as they will be on normal teaching duty.
What happens at a June Open Morning?
Our June Open Morning usually begins around 09:30 and ends at around 12:30.The annual summer Open Morning includes a chance to meet Heads of Departments and other senior staff, as well as boarding house tours and a campus tour with open classrooms. These mornings also include a presentation from the Head or Head of Sixth Form, Admissions staff and students. This Open Morning is usually a very popular and busy event. It is suitable for those interested in Year 7, Year 9 or Sixth Form entry.
