Curling

Congratulations to the curling team on winning the bronze medal in the English Schools’ Curling Championships.

Fencing             

Amelie Tsang and Elena Tsang won the Kent U14 and U16 Championships respectively. Both girls will represent the South Eastern Region in the British Championships.

Hockey

Renée Ojikutu (U18) and Kat Pastron (U16) successfully participated in England Hockey camps.
Congratulations to Sophie Holliday (OS 2015) who has been selected for the U21 England Hockey squad.

Riding 

Our 80cm and 90cm eventing teams have qualified for the national championships held at Stonar School in September.
At the Tweseldown NSEA Eventing competition, Harry Scott was first in the 80cm class, and the team of Abi Scott, Isa Wardell and Sophia Anderson placed third in the 90cm class.
At the Munstead NSEA Eventing competition, the team of Harry Scott (1st), Mia Stack (5th), Marcus Cook and Katie Clyne was first in the 80cm class, while Isa Wardell placed fourth in the 90cm class.

Rugby

Jonny Francombe represented Saracens U15 EPDG squad in a recent competition against Harlequins, London Irish and Wasps. This is an outstanding achievement.

Sailing

Sevenoaks sailors competed at the RYA Women’s Team Racing Championships, finishing fifth overall out of 18 teams and winning the U19 national title for the third year in a row.

Shooting

At the Kent Short Range Final, Will Lloyd (Upper Sixth) placed as the top junior in the county.
The team of Eliza Hockey, Barty Wardell and Theo Dodds won the overall team match. They are the first school team to have ever done this, and beat the previous reigning champions by a significant margin of ten points out of a possible 600. Theo also placed as the top individual overall. Congratulations to all.

Squash

Tara Radia has been selected to play for Kent U14s in the inter-counties.

Staff achievements

At the European Down Syndrome Open Competition 2019, Jemima Rudd-Jones of the school Catering team won three gold medals, representing Great Britain.
Thanks to Garrath Williams and the Sennocke Centre team for running several successful and fun sports camps during the Easter break.
