Sevenoaks teams have had a fantastic start to the year with the junior teams competing in the IAPS event at Somerhill as their final event before the half term break. Our junior girls did brilliantly to win the race, with the boys finishing a respectable fourth place despite missing a team member.
Cross country teams also took part in a successful training camp over half term in the South Downs.
Amelie Tsang has been selected to represent Great Britain (individual and Team GBR A) in the European Fencing Confederation’s Cadet (U17) Circuit international tournament in Budapest in November. Due to Amelie’s recent success both domestically and on the international scene, Amelie is now ranked number one in GB for Cadet (U17) foil.
Piero Steiner placed 24th out of 322 epee fencers in the U17 European Fencing Confederation Competition in Budapest. This excellent performance moves him now into third place overall in the U17 GBR Cadet ranking.
The teams won all of their matches and enjoyed plenty of culture in their superb tour of Barbados.
Seven of our relay teams are have officially qualified for the national finals in November held at the Olympic Pool after some impressive performances at the Kent secondary school swimming relays.< Back
