Cricket

We have had a fantastic end to the cricket season:

Our U14s won the T20 competition beating Sutton Valence and Judd. Our 1st team also won the T20 King’s tournament and beat the MCC on Founders Day for the second year in a row.

Congratulations to Henry Procter, who finished the season with over 700 runs which is the highest number in around 30 years.

At Kent U15 Hard Ball final, our girls team finished runners up.

The U13s have won the U13 Kent Plate competition.

Congratulations to Coco Streets, who played for the Senior Kent team captained by Tash Farrant.

Netball

At the World School Games, the U15s finished in fourth place and the U13s in 13th. Our teams played with determination and skill throughout the tournament and should be pleased with all their efforts.

Sailing

Sevenoaks sailors enjoyed a very successful weekend at the schools’ nationals – the U19 A team retained their title, defeating Magdalen College in the final, while the B team finished fifth overall and the U17s finished third and fifth overall in their division. This is a fantastic achievement out of nearly 40 competing teams.

Swimming

At the ESSA individual champs, there were a number of excellent performances with Sevenoaks swimmers winning eight medals from 16 races:

  • Demi Alli, three golds and a silver
  • Jack Eagle,  two silvers
  • Anjola Pratt, two silvers

Tennis

At the Kent Doubles tournament, we won 5 out of 6 possible trophies including the senior boys, inter boys, inter girls, junior boys and junior girls.

At the Independent Schools Tennis Association championships, our senior boys were bowl winners finishing in fifth, our U13 girls were quarter finalists and the U15 girls, U15 boys and U13 boys were all group winners.

Good luck to our senior boys who are competing at the national finals this week.

Outreach

As part of Social Impact week, 29 of students came up with excellent proposals for sport next year and taught over 360 pupils from local primary schools.
