Athletics

Well done to Harriet Medlen who finished 2nd in the 75m Final at the Kent championships.

Fencing

Sevenoaks fencers competed at the British Cadet (U17) National Championships and British Junior (U20) National Championships:

Amelie Tsang came third in the Junior Women’s Foil and fifth in the Cadet Women’s Foil.

Woser Prossor came 12th in the Junior Men’s Foil and 31st in the Cadet Men’s Foil.

Piero Steiner came 27th in the Cadet Men’s Epee and 60th in the Junior Men’s Epee.

Sebastian Silva came 32nd in the Cadet Men’s Sabre.

Football

Camilla Eerdmans has been invited to represent South East England for the U14 girls at the Gothia Cup in Gothenburg.

Our First XI girls and boys won their first county and ISFA matches respectively.

Hockey

The U16B team finished third in the county tournament and the Second XI were county champions.

Venetia Barker attended her England trial and awaits news of selection.

There was a whole host of excellent mid-week fixtures for our juniors and Year 9s.

Netball

Congratulations to Ellie Allen, Telia Green (U15) and Sasha Kelly (U17) have been selected for trials for London Pulse.

The U13A team won their first round of the national cup.   

Riding

Sevenoaks equestrian teams travelled to Stonar School in Wiltshire over the exeat weekend to compete at the National Schools Equestrian Association Eventing Championships, which they qualified for in April.

On Saturday, in the 80cm class, our team of Marcus Cook, Katie Clyne, Harry Scott and Mia Stack won the team competition, earning our first equestrian national title! Harry was first individually and Mia was fifth individually.

On Sunday, in the 90cm class, our team of Eve Mayes, Abi Scott, Harry Scott and Isabella Wardell were not placed as a team but Harry was second individually and Isabella was fifth individually.

Rugby

Sevenoaks First XV have been selected by Fifteen Rugby as one of the top five teams in the country last week for their performance against Reigate GS.

The U15A team had an excellent win in the Kent cup versus Kings Rochester as well as the U14A in a friendly against the same school.

Swimming

There were some impressive performances at the Kent secondary school swimming relays with many putting forth promising times to head to the national competition:

Junior boys: Demi Alli, James Ellershaw, Jack Eagle, Bertie Turner won both the FC and Medley relays.

Junior girls: Izzy Okaro, Amelia Tovey, Angola Pratt, Eva Mathew came second in both FC and Medley relays.

Inter boys: David Maule, Cameron Davies, Nikita Ivantuya, Zac Raymond came second in both FC and Medley relays.

Senior boys: Ray Jerram, Rob Allen, Louis Hayes, Tai Masunaga came second in both FC and Medley relays.

Volleyball

The girls first team beat TASIS varsity first team and have been invited to attend the American Schools tournament as a guest.

Staff

Jemima Rudd-Jones represented GB at the DSISO European Championships in Sardinia winning three silvers and two bronze.
