Head of Shooting is British Champion

Congratulations to the Head of Shooting, Theo Dodds, on winning the National Small-bore Rifle Association Long Range British Championships this summer and becoming the Earl Roberts Champion for 2019.

Theo also won the X Class Grand Aggregate (competing against multiple commonwealth games competitors and medalists), making him only the seventh person in the competition’s 96-year history to win both, as well as being the youngest to have achieved it.

Theo is also an accomplished full-bore shooter and led the school’s shooting team in one of their most successful years in 2018-19. They began with an unbeaten season, and went on to win the Pairs and Fours in the British Schools Long Range Challenge as well as having two students in the top three out of over 200.
