Malaga Exchange 2017

During October half term some of our students had the opportunity to visit Málaga.

"We arrived in Málaga late on Wednesday evening and it was still really hot! When I met Belén’s (my exchange) family they were all really nice and welcoming, and I instantly felt comfortable in Spain.

Over the whole trip we did lots of interesting and fun activities, but some of my favourite were going to Frigilliana, a beautiful white town, the Picasso museum , the visit to la Alhambra despite the rain and exploring the centre of Málaga, and eating churros in small cafés. We also did some things after school and on weekends, like going to the nearby beach and the theme park – Tivoli. I particularly enjoyed going to the beach as everyone on the exchange was there and we all bonded really well. We had a few days at the school, which were really fun, I enjoyed learning Flamenco!

When we had to leave on the Friday it was incredibly sad as the trip was amazing and I made such good friends with my exchange. I have already made plans to go back in the summer and I loved every minute in Málaga."
