Since beginning our Linguistics club in January, four students have entered the UK Linguistics Olympiad competition (Intermediate Level) and earned four super results. Well done to the following students:
Amber Holt (L6) has been awarded a Gold Award Sophie Berry (U6) has been awarded a Silver Award Rebecca Redmayne (Y10) has been awarded a Silver Award Yannis Scotiniadis (Y10) has been awarded a Bronze Award
Congratulations also to Olivia Scott Smith, winner of the 2020 Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators run by Queen’s College Oxford. Olivia took the first prize for German with her work on Roald Dahl in the summer.
