Last week our Director of Innovation and Outreach visited Lady Boswell’s Primary School and spoke to children of all age ranges across the school from reception to year six. He did an introduction to Arduino programming, basic components and electronics. As well as giving a robotics presentation to the younger students with NAO the robot. They looked at what it is for a robot to be self aware, how NAO works (motors, LED’s etc) and spoke about more advanced hardware such as accelerometers and ultra-sonics. Nao even performed a Gangnam Style dance for the children and Tai Chi.
