Finish and Post Race Arrangements

All runners will use a chipped number which will record their individual race time, and the scoring system collates the top four runners into the A team, the second top four runners will become the B team and so on depending on numbers of runners in your team.  There will not be any position cards given out, runners should pass the finish line and exit through the funnel and re-join their team manager.  Please remind your athletes to use FOUR SAFETY PINS on their number, should it come off their running vest, they will need to hold onto it; no number means no time recorded!

Tea will be served in the Dining Hall from about 3:15pm where the presentation of trophies and medals will take place at approximately 3.30pm.

Full results will be made available to each school as soon as possible.  In view of the numbers involved (currently over 30 teams in each of the boys’ and girls’ races), we are again employing SPLIT SECOND TIMING, who will normally have the results out within minutes of the end of the race. We shall assume you have collected these results, and will not subsequently send a copy to you unless you particularly request it. The results will be available during the week-end after the race on and on the school’s website (
