Sevenoaks welcomed a fantastic turn-out at this year’s Knole Run, with 350 runners taking part.
The 45th Knole Run and 23rd Girls’ Knole Run took place on 12 January at Knole Park with competitors from 32 schools from across England running the 5.8 and 3.1-mile courses.
Congratulations to the winners, the Judd School A team (boys) and The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School (girls).
Sevenoaks School gave a strong performance, with the girls’ A team taking second place, the girls’ B team fifth place race and the boys’ A team seventh place.
Standout Sevenoaks performances came from Maddie Wise who came sixth with a time of 20:01, Alex Evans in eighth with a time of 20:09 and Anna Scheiner, who was among the youngest competitors as a Year 9 runner competing against athletes up to five years older, finishing in a superb 16th place.
