We were delighted to welcome speakers from King’s College London, University of Surrey, University of Portsmouth and the National Citizenship Service to our Kent Academies Network and IBCP school Higher Education outreach event on Thursday 10 May 2018.
King’s presented to Year 12 students from local schools on How to Choose a Course, and Making a Competitive Application. Surrey spoke to the students on Personal Statements and Why go to University? Portsmouth shared some extremely useful information on Student Finance. The NCS presented to students on their four-week summer programme.
The feedback was very positive and the students found the talks informative and interesting. We plan to arrange similar events in the future. Thank you to all who spoke.
