Community collections

Each Tuesday 9am-12pm we are running a collection outside Claridge House at Sevenoaks School.

Sevenoaks District Council have approved this collection as an exception to the stay at home policy if you drop off items as part of your daily exercise or are a registered SDC volunteer. Please ensure that items are unopened and handled with washed or sanitised hands, and that social distancing is strictly maintained on delivery. While we are focusing on particular donations each week, we can also store items for future collections.

Since March, we have supported five local food banks in Sevenoaks, Crowborough, Westerham, Tonbridge and Bromley. We have also supported The Hygiene Bank, Friends for Families, and One Big Family: Helping the Homeless in Medway.

We are also continuing to support the Care for our Community Sevenoaks District communications device campaign, collecting unused devices from local people which are put into working order by a team of tech volunteers before being given to others who need them.

This week's collection

Follow the Sevenoaks School Facebook account, or @sevenoaksimpact on Twitter or Instagram for updates on the items we are collecting each week.

We are also continuing to collect communications devices for the Care for our Community Sevenoaks District communications device campaign. Please place disinfected mobiles/tablets/laptops in a plastic bag together with password/pin/login details, alongside a contact number.
