During half term Year 7 pupil Hugo Coquelin won the Grade Two U12 National title, held at Halton. The tournament hosted the 32 top players of the country, Hugo did not lose one single set and won 6/1,6/3 in the final. An incredible achievement for Hugo, winning the title 2 tennis seasons early he is certainly one of the youngest players to have done so. This week Hugo is hoping to continue his winning form as he is playing in a Tennis Europe tournament, also held at Halton, fellow Year 7 pupil Anais Fernandez-Laaksonen is also competing. Hugo has also been invited to represent GB next week for an U12 team event, he certainly has an exciting future ahead of him.
