The Sevenoaks Girls Cross Country team ran outstandingly to win the highly competitive King Henry VIII relays in Coventry Memorial Park on Wednesday 1 February. Phoebe Barker led from the gun and built an impressive lead by running the fastest lap time of the day. Carlotta Weitzel and Maddie Wise (Year 8) only extended the lead as they ran the second and third legs respectively before Sabrina Sinha ran the third fastest lap time of the day to secure the team’s victory by nearly 2 minutes. Liz Yelling, the two time Olympian presented the girls with their well-deserved trophy.
